Part-Time Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
Qualifications
AMFTs are required to have:
A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from United States.
Active registration as an Associate MFT with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California.
An electronic device to provide telehealth appointments (smartphone, tablet, PC, or laptop).
Current compliance with CA BBS requirements as an AMFT.
Personal malpractice insurance (1M/3M aggregate).
Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
Eligibility to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and develop clinically appropriate treatment plans for clients.
Provide 50-90 minute individual virtual sessions.
Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of session completion.
Participate in clinical supervision (1-2 hours weekly).
Engage in mentoring during supervision sessions.
Utilize SimplePractice for electronic health record keeping.
Benefit from administrative liaison services between clients and Associates (e.g., scheduling appointments, billing).
Work hours will depend on the Associate's caseload.
